Is the world going to end in an hour?
I just uploaded version 0.58 of Crypt-SSLeay
to CPAN.
Crypt-SSLeay
provides SSL support for LWP and WWW::Mechanize. Until recently, it had fallen into a little bit of a disrepair and had accumulated a bunch of bug reports. I tried to familiarize myself with the code and the issues (luckily, all reports contained useful information and helpful code — thank you!) and fix what I felt comfortable fixing (hoping not to break anything in the process.
After four iterations and positive test results provided by CPAN Testers, I finally decided that the module was in no worse condition than I started working on it.
Yet, I have this feeling that I must have done at least something wrong.
Note that the module still needs more tests and multi-threading support (see also my comments here).
Those tasks are in the pipeline for the next release which I hope will be some time in early October.
In the mean time, please let me know what I messed up.
